Making a Recording

Location

The location you choose for your recording will have a big impact on the eventual sound. Large halls or churches with an open, airy sound and isolated from traffic noise are ideal. I have a database of locations in London which have proved successful but I will travel to most locations.

How Much Time  Do I Need?
Well it depends on your repertoire, level of preparation, budget and how relaxed you want your recording experience to be. Some artists may be able to work more quickly than others. I aim to provide a tailored service and can advise you on the most cost effective route.

How Much Will it Cost?
My costs are very reasonable because I usually work alone and can offer a full turnkey service from recording, producing, editing to mastering. When considering costs, it is important to factor in the location cost, and any extras such as piano hire (if the venue does not have one) and piano tuning. For further information please call or email me via the contact page.
